The purpose of the Christian Football Association is to provide a league where like-minded Christian schools can compete against each other. The mission is to develop Christian character, promote school spirit, enhance Christian fellowship among member schools, and ultimately to glorify God. The mission of the Christian Football Association should always be the focus of member schools, coaches, players, faculty, staff, administratrors, parents, and fans.

Not sure if the word "historic" should be used, but this year was a "historic" championship game. For the first time since it's inception, the CFA has a repeat champion. Congratulations to Coach Chris Hamm and the Victory Christian Eagles from Columbus, MS. This was a game of two heavy weights exchanging blows and it seemed like whoever had the ball last was going to win. Tabernacle jumped out to an early 22-0 lead but Victory cut the margin to 30 - 14 by the half. Turnovers played a big part in the second half as the Eagles fought their way back into the lead. The fourth quarter was back and forth. Tabernacle was down by 8 points and driving and turned the ball over to the eagles. Victory scored a late touchdown to make the final score 70 - 56.
